CCCP 1939

Due to the heroic efforts of Vladimir Kokkinaki combined with his extraordinary self-discipline, all of the aircraft built by the leading Soviet constructor S. Ilushin could be tested. V. Kokkinaki set up 20 world records in flying. One of them was the transatlantic flight from Moscow to New York over the total distance of 8.000 km, in April 1939.

The mechanical watch «1939» reveals a special minute scale like the ones used in the aircraft of that time. The watch is available with a steel or gold plated case and the dials may be obtained in black, white, beige or dark green. Also equipped with a central second hand, calendar, as well as a schockproofed movement, the watch is watertight until 5 atm.
